Winger Alex Wills joined Sale Sharks on a long-term deal in December 2022 after impressing on trial. 

Alex, who was part of the Worcester Warriors academy set-up, joined the Sharks academy after signing a deal until the end of the 2025/26 season. 

Former Hartpury College student Alex played his junior rugby for Worcester RFC and scored on his Warriors debut against Gloucester in round one of the 2022/23 Premiership Rugby Cup. 

A regular try-scorer for the Worcester U18s, Alex helped Hartpury win the 2021/22 ACE League competition. 

He received his first call-up for England U18s in February 2022, and was selected, along with fellow Sharks Nye Thomas and Rekeiti Ma’asi-White, for an under 20s training camp that November. 

Alex was part of the England U20s squad for the 2023 U20s World Cup and scored on his first appearance of the tournament against France.
