One exciting way we’ve developed to raise funds is through a brand-new game called Sale Sharks Forecast Frenzy. This isn’t just any game – it’s a unique prediction challenge inspired by one of our most dedicated fans, Mystic Matthew, who, despite his autism and ADHD, stays laser-focused when it comes to predicting Sale Sharks match outcomes. Matthew’s passion and sharp predictions have motivated us to create a game that allows all Sale Sharks fans to channel their enthusiasm and prediction skills for a good cause.
What is the Forecast Frenzy? Forecast Frenzy is an exciting, interactive prediction game designed for Sale Sharks fans. The concept is simple but engaging before each match, you predict the last digit of the Sale Sharks’ score. For example, if the final score is 24-10 for Sale Sharks, and you predicted 4, you earn points. It’s a fun and competitive way to enjoy matchday while connecting with other fans and supporting our foundation’s efforts.
How to Play:
- Sign up for one of our membership packages that best suits you.
- Log in to your account, visit the Prediction Page, and submit your prediction for the final digit of the Sale Sharks’ score at least 30 minutes before kick-off.
- Points are calculated after each match:
- Correct Prediction: 10 points
- Incorrect Prediction: 4 points
- No Prediction: 2 points
- Bonus: If you guess the correct last digit for both teams, you earn an additional 20 points!
Trial the Frenzy: We are allowing every fan to take part in the Frenzy for free for the following 3 fixtures.
- 11/10/2024: Sale Sharks vs. Newcastle Falcons
- 18/10/2024: Northampton Saints vs. Sale Sharks
- 26/10/2024: BATH Rugby vs. Sale Sharks
As a participant you will collect points and the person with the most points on the 26th of October will win a 25th Anniversary Hoody!
Accumulating Real Points: Actual points for the championship will commence from the AWAY match on 01/11/2024: Doncaster Knights vs. Sale Sharks. Only people that are on a membership package will be allowed to collect points and go for the main grand prize!
You have to be in it to win it: By playing the Forecast Frenzy you will also be competing for the ultimate Sale Sharks prize. The person with the most points at the end of the season will win the ultimate Sale Sharks prize:
- £500 cash money
- Tour of the Training Ground along with a meet and greet with the players
- 1 x season ticket for the 2025/2026 season
- 1 X official kit
Membership Packages:
- JAW-SOME Package (£5/month): Access to Forecast Frenzy, plus entry into a monthly raffle to win a £100 cash prize and a signed Sale Sharks player shirt. Each month there will be a new player. The monthly raffle is for all members regardless of if they take part in the Forecast Frenzy or not
- FIN – TASTIC Package (£7.5/month): All Basic benefits, plus £20 worth of Christmas raffle tickets and a secured spot in our Christmas Quiz (both coming in December)
- SHARKTIME Package (£10/month): All Plus benefits, plus an exclusive 25th Anniversary Sale Sharks hoody.

Track Your Success: After each match, check the Leaderboard Page to see your points and ranking. The leaderboard is updated weekly, so you can track your progress and see how you stack up against other fans. Remember, once a prediction is submitted, it’s locked in, so be sure before you submit!
Off-Season Excitement: Even when the rugby season takes a break, Forecast Frenzy continues! We keep our members engaged with exciting raffle prizes, including £100 cash, a signed player shirts, and exclusive Sale Sharks merchandise every month.
