Sale Sharks’ men’s and women’s teams will go head-to-head with their Leicester Tigers counterparts in the club’s first ever Salford Stadium double-header.
The bumper day of action on Sunday 1st December will see Rachel Taylor’s Sale Sharks Women take to the field first to face Tigers Women at Midday.
And that will be followed by the heavyweight clash between Alex Sanderson’s Sharks men and Michael Cheika’s Tigers at 3.15pm.
Both games will be broadcast live by TNT Sports.
Sharks CEO Paul Smith said: “This double-header will be a really big moment for the club and a fantastic spectacle for our supporters.
“We hope the fans will turn out in big numbers and arrive early to give the women’s team that special support that we see week in, week out at the Salford Stadium.
“We’re committed to growing the women’s game in the north and providing opportunities for everyone to play the game we love. This special day will showcase everything that’s good about women’s rugby and be a real celebration of how far our relatively new team has come.”
The early-bird window for tickets for the fixture is now open (click here). One ticket will get you in to the stadium for both games. That means if you buy before Friday 18th October, you get this whole day at last season’s prices.
Sharks Men’s and Women’s season ticket holders will get both games included in their ticket.
