HITZ Programme
HITZ is the award-winning education programme developed by Premiership Rugby that helps previously unemployed young people aged 16 to 19 to turn their lives around. Our Community Trust here at Sharks deliver this programme in our local area, offering a combination of sport and education, alongside employability and issue-based sessions (such as drug and alcohol awareness).

Cargill Cares
The classroom sessions focus on increasing the children’s understanding of food safety & nutrition and regular exercise. Tag Rugby sessions are delivered each week as part of the programme, to increase levels of physical activity. Each school will be given their own tag rugby equipment so that they can continue playing after the programme has ended.

School Programmes
Our schools programmes are designed to engage, develop and motivate learners to lead healthy and balanced lives. This can take place in a classroom or out on the pitch. We can also work with school staff members too through our staff CPD sessions which are great for building confidence and improving knowledge. You can find out more here. Alternative Provision
Our Alternative Provision is a bespoke approach to meet the aims of each individual student we work with in either a one-to-one or a group environment. Our AP tutors provide support by mentoring through support as well as tuition with curriculum lessons. Students can be full time, part time or in alternative education.

PRL Champions
Since it launched, it has helped thousands of primary school aged children to get moving more whilst enjoying learning and improving digital literacy at the same time. Developed by teachers for teachers, Premiership Rugby Champions provides interactive, fun themed project-based KS2 lesson plans and materials for use in the classroom and outside.
