From a start of the year double-header to an end-of-season party, we’re planning to mark 25 years of Sale Sharks in our trademark northern style. Check out our calendar of events to see how you can get involved.
Heywood Road Double Header
Saturday 7th September 2024
We kick off the year of celebrations with a double-header featuring both the Sharks men’s and women’s teams at the stadium where it all began – Heywood Road. We’ll also be inducting our first two Sharks Hall of Famers as we welcome Steve Diamond’s Newcastle Falcons to Manchester. Rachel Taylor’s women will get the day underway as they take on Loughborough Lightning.

Sale Sharks v Newcastle Falcons – Kick-off 7pm

Matchday Hall of Fame inductions
Ahead of every home game this season we’ll be inducting Sale Sharks legends into our Hall of Fame so you’ll get the chance to meet your Sharks heroes past and present.
Make sure you’re there to see some of our greatest players join an illustrious group whilst watching our current crop of Sharks take on the very best the Gallagher Premiership has to offer.
We’ll be also be inviting some of our favourite alumni to the Salford Stadium for a Gallagher Premiership fixture. Make sure you’re there to rub shoulders with the legends!

Sharks legends Walking Rugby tournament
Date: Saturday 31st May 12:00pm-3:00pm
Location: Heywood Road
Fancy joining some Sharks legends in a game of walking rugby? This is your chance to watch some of the club’s greatest players with ball in hand once more. We’ll be fielding a team in an open-entry Walking Rugby tournament ay Heywood Road. After the tournament, you can sit down with your heroes past and present and watch some of the current Sharks in action on the big screens as they take on Exeter Chiefs in our final match of the season.

25 Years of Sharks Celebration
The perfect way to wrap up a memorable year of celebrations! Join us at our end-of-season event to keep the party going and put the seal on another (hopefully) successful season for Alex and the lads on the pitch.
We’ll be heading to an extra special venue in Manchester alongside The Good, The Bad and The Rugby Podcast for a night with all of your favourite Sharks, plus a few legends for good measure!
