Rachel Taylor makes just one change to the Starting XV as both Sale teams run out at Heywood Road for the first ever Sharks double header at the Salford Community Stadium.
Eva Wood is replaced by Sophie Hopkins on the right wing as both women’s teams hunt for their first win of the season. On the other wing Holly Thorpe looks to continue where she left off last week against Exeter, a performance that saw her named the PWR’s Player of the Week.
In the pack, PWR Team of the Week players Scarlett Fielding, Erica Jarrell and Alba Capell will all be looking to make similar impact as Sale Sharks Women run out at the Salford Community Stadium for only the second time in their history.
Sale are boosted by several returning players this week. USA Eagles scrum half Olivia Ortiz returns from a dislocated shoulder and is in line to make her PWR debut while Lucie Sams and Vicky A Irwin are also big additions to the bench.
There is also a notable milestone for Iona Antwis. The long serving second row is set to make her 50th appearance for the club if she comes off the bench this weekend.
