Sale Sharks Women will kick off the 24/25 Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) season with a bye weekend followed by a home clash with Saracens, it was revealed today.
Rachel Taylor’s team will take on Marlie Packer and her Saracens team at the CorpAcq Stadium in round two on Saturday 12th October (7pm KO).
That testing fixture is followed by another in round three, as Your Sharks Women hit the road to face Loughborough Lightning at the cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens (Saturday 19th October, 2pm KO).
Round four sees last season’s losing finalists Bristol Bears head north for another Saturday evening showdown (Saturday 26th October, 7pm KO) at the CorpAcq Stadium.
And Champions Gloucester-Hartpury lie in wait in round five, as Taylor’s Sharks travel south (Saturday 2nd November, 5pm KO).
Round six brings another away fixture, this time at The Stoop against Harlequins, who Sharks memorably defeated 35-31 at the CorpAcq Stadium last season.
Dates and times have been confirmed for the first six rounds of fixtures with games in round seven onwards pencilled in for weekends only.
The season wraps up with the final on Sunday 16th March.
