Shark In A Park

Shark in a Park is an initiative developed to promote the participation of Rugby through the use of recycling old rugby balls from across Sale Sharks and Sharks Community Trust.

Rugby balls will be left with a ‘Shark in a Park’ postcard, within local parks across the North West by Club staff and players in the hope that old balls go to new homes and the sport can be enjoyed by someone who might never have picked up a ball before.

Prizes can be won through sharing your ‘Shark in a Park’ selfies on social media, these include a mascot package, a family ticket for a Sale Sharks match, a coaching session from Community Coaches or a place on a Community Trust Holiday Camp. All you have to do is take a selfie, with the ball, in your local park with #SharkInAPark and tag in @salesharks and @sharkscommunity to be in with a chance to win!
