Katy Daley-Mclean makes six changes to her starting XV to face Loughborough Lightning in round 13 of the Allianz Premier 15s
Scrum-half Mhairi Grieve is named as captain in Katy Daley-Mclean’s squad to take on Loughborough Lightning on Saturday with newly signed American prop Nick James passed the mantle of vice captain.
There are five changes in the Sharks pack this week, with Welsh international Gwenllian Pyrs entering at prop having recently been awarded a professional contract with the WRU, with fellow countrywoman Molly Kelly starting at hooker.
Nicola Howat pairs with Katie Houghton in the second-row, Houghton reprising that role having played in the front-row thus far this season.
In the back-row, after a string of impressive performances off the bench, Lucy Winter replaces Georgie Perris-Redding at open-side.
In the backs, there is one change in personnel with Hollie Bawden starting once again. Lizzie Duffy moves to fullback with Katana Howard starting at fly-half. Laura Perrin forms a powerful centre partnership with Bawden at inside and outside centre respectively. Evie Tonkin and Lisa Neumann each retain their spots on the left and right wings.
On the bench, impact front-rowers Catie Benson and Leah Lyons lurk, along with energetic scrum-half Jess Roberts. `
