We are back at the AJ Bell after two weeks away! Here’s everything you need to know ahead of kick-off this Saturday (Dec 18) for our first home Heineken Champions Cup fixture this season.
Sale Sharks v ASM Clermont Auvergne, AJ Bell Stadium, Kick-Off: 3:15pm
What’s On?
Turnstiles open at 12:45pm. You can arrive any time after this and soak up the Christmas atmosphere!
Finally, this year we’re proud to be supporting the Toy Appeal, which ensures children living in poverty across the North West will get toys this Christmas. You can support the cause by bringing a NEW unwrapped toy to donate at the stadium on the 18th, we’ll be giving away a free Sharks gift to all those who do, as well as giving you the opportunity for a selfie with one of the Sharks squad.
Travel & Parking
Matchdays are always busy, so we advise everyone to plan their journeys and arrive at the AJ Bell Stadium in plenty of time before kick-off at 3:15pm.
We’ve got a NEW ‘park & ride’ site for this fixture at the Five Soccer Centre, Trafford. This will cost £5 and includes shuttle buses to and from the stadium. More details and booking HERE.
There is still parking availability at the Makro car park, which is supported by a ‘park & ride’ shuttle bus to the stadium which is included in your parking costs. This must be pre-booked HERE.
If you’re travelling from Didsbury, Parrswood or Cheadle you can make use of the Stockport shuttle bus. This will run as follows: Mercian Way – East Didsbury at 1:35pm, Parrswood at 1:45pm, The Red Lion Cheadle at 1:55pm, and all pickups will be from the drop-off point 20 mins after the final whistle. This can be pre-booked HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: Masks need to be worn at all times when using the shuttle buses, unless you are exempt.
