There are just four changes to Katy Daley Mclean and Callum Yorke’s starting line-up that faced Wasps Women
Olympian Lisa Thomson returns to Sharks starting XV to face Loughborough after a spell of international duty with Team GB Sevens.
The Scot pairs with Katana Howard at centre for an exciting new combination Sharks have not yet seen this season. Howard was unrelentingly powerful in attack and defence last weekend – Sharks will hope this balances nicely with Thomson’s incredible pace and finesse.
The only other change to the backline is on the left wing, where Wales international Jess Kavanagh replaces Evie Tonkin who put in a short but bright burst in London before being forced off early.
In the forwards, Molly Kelly replaces Leah Lyons at hooker who is serving a three-match suspension following a dangerous tackle against Wasps.
Vicky E Irwin replaces Georgie Perris-Redding in the back-row, the pocket-rocket earning a well-earned rest after some stunning performances in weeks gone by. The female David Pocock – Rachel Mclachlan – starts at openside.
Lizzie Duffy and Hollie Bawden return on the bench, having scored five tries between them against Loughborough in October.
