Your Sharks will kick off their bid for Premiership glory on Saturday, September 18, with a home clash against Bath Rugby (3pm KO), it has been confirmed.
The full list of fixtures for the 2021/22 season was announced this morning, and they see Alex Sanderson’s men handed a tough task on the opening day against a Bath side likely to feature former Shark Danny Cipriani.
Round two sees the Sharks travel to the Brentford Community Stadium to face London Irish (Sunday, September 26, 3pm) in what will be the club’s televised game of the new campaign.
And then it’s back to the AJ Bell in round three for a mouth-watering clash against last season’s beaten finalists Exeter Chiefs (Sunday, October 3, 3pm, live on BT Sport).
Kingsholm is the destination in round four as Alex Sanderson’s side take on Gloucester (Saturday, October 9, 3pm).
And then it’s back to Salford for the visit of the champions Harlequins in our first Friday night fixture under the lights (Friday, 16 October, 7.45pm, live on BT Sport).
With 13 teams in next season’s Premiership, each team will receive two bye weeks, and your Sharks get their first in round ten and their second in round 23.
The regular season will wrap up with the visit of last year’s table toppers Bristol Bears although specific dates and times for rounds 8-26 are yet to be confirmed.
The play-off semi finals will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, and the final is at Twickenham on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
