The Sale Sharks senior academy and a selection of first team stars joined our estate agent partners, homes4u for a crash-course on the property market this month.
A virtual seminar, organised by Andrew Mellor, Partner Development Manager at homes4u, saw players such as Denny Solomona, Manu Tuilagi, JP du Preez & Cobus Wiese taking part in a property workshop from the award-winning estate and letting agent.
The workshop gave players – including 19 members of the senior academy – the lowdown on all things property, including tips on selling and increasing property value, the renting process as well as how to manage multiple properties.
The players were split into virtual breakout rooms led by homes4u’s Ann Durrell, Director of Development, Poppy Lockwood, Head of Lettings, and Andrew Harrison, Head of Property Management, which delved deeper into the opportunities that come with climbing the property ladder.
Guidelines and best practice tips were shared with the players including renting essentials; how to buy a first home, building a property portfolio and tips on getting the best return on investment for properties in the Sale and South Manchester area.
Homes4u has been a club partner since 2015, and has three offices, one in Manchester City Centre, and two in South Manchester.
Andrew Mellor at homes4u, said: “It was a pleasure to get the teams together for a crash-course on the property market. Differing circumstances and priorities meant there was a massive range of questions for the homes4u team, which resulted in some really interesting conversations.
There’s a vast array of opportunities in the market, from development to property ownership and renting, so we were really pleased that the lads took such a keen interest in the industry.”
