Following on from the first Down Syndrome session delivered in September in partnership with Printerland.co.uk, Sharks Community Trust hosted a special ‘Dads and Lads’ Down Syndrome session at Sale Sharks Training Centre on Sunday 6th December.
This special event seen 14 boys aged between 9 and 26 years old take part in a rugby session with the opportunity at the end to take part in a game of touch rugby with their dad.
Speaking after the event, Adam Dolby who’s son Freddy attends numerous Trust inclusive rugby activities said “We cannot thank Printerland and Sale Sharks enough for their support in ensuring that Rugby is for everyone. To see the smile not only on Fred’s face when he is taking part in Rugby but all the other participants is truly life changing after covid-19 halted all activities. Sale Sharks have a new family supporting them and we cannot wait until we can return to the stadium to cheer both the men and women on!”
