Sale 1861 have been crowned National Challenge 1 with games to spare after a convincing victory over Preston Grasshoppers at the CorpAcq Stadium, Heywood Road.
It was an emphatic 67-3 win over the Preston Grasshoppers Women’s Team to seal the title, with 13 tries scored by the hosts, including a double hat-trick for winger, Kathryn Craine.

Sale 1861 will travel away to Ashfield Ladies on the 1st March, and finish the season at home against Southport Ladies on the 15th March. However with the title already decided, the celebrations have begun.
