About the programme
Sale Sharks Academy Coach Development Programme is designed to support coaches’ development who are part of the Sale Sharks Academy Pathway. Our aim is to provide excellent coaching, every time, for every player in the Academy pathway.
The programme allows access to high – quality coach development sessions to support coaches and teachers own continuing professional development (CPD). Observation sessions will provide pathway coaches with enhanced skills, new ideas and increased knowledge on how to develop our Sharks DNA to meet the needs of players at the appropriate stage in their development.
Ultimately enhancing delivery throughout the DPP & SDG pathways, and to ensure the best possible talent development environments. Sessions are designed and delivered by Academy coaches and staff. Our programme is with linked England Rugby and all evenings are held at Sale Sharks High-Performance Training Centre Carrington.
