Together Gift Official Sponsor Box To Inspirational Young People

As Sale cruised to victory against Northampton on the weekend, the families of Emmie Narayn-Nicholas and Sam Hunt were able to watch from the award-winning hospitality boxes at the AJ Bell Stadium thanks to a generous donation from our Cheadle-based partner, Together.

Together hosted the families in their box, while the children were also mascots for the day, running out on the pitch alongside the team and posing for photos with the players.

Emmie Narayn-Nicholas, aged 10, has been diagnosed with leukaemia while 7-year old Sam Hunt, suffers from craniopharyngioma, a rare brain tumour. Both young people have ongoing treatment for their conditions but refuse to let that deter their spirit.

The brave children had a day to remember with their families, where they watched the first-round Premiership Rugby Cup fixture and also got exclusive behind-the-scenes access at the stadium.

Mark Cueto, Commercial Director at Sale Sharks said:

The opportunity to gift this sort of experience to incredible young children and their families is brilliant. We’re delighted that one of our sponsors have chosen to do such a generous thing, and we can’t thank them enough.”

“Rugby has the ability to bring families and communities together through mutual enjoyment, so we were delighted to welcome Emmie and Sam, along with their families, to one of the official sponsor boxes at the stadium. We hope they had a fantastic day and enjoyed a live rugby experience and a great win for Sale.”

If anyone would like to support the families affected, you can donate to Alder Hey via their crowdfunding site – click HERE.

The two families were given the experience by specialist lender Together, a key club sponsor and partner of Sale Sharks since 2017.
