Many of the Sale Sharks players, including the new signings Will-Griff John, Will Cliff and Marc Jones started pre-season training at Carrington this morning.
The players arrived early and underwent testing with the medics before starting their preparations for the new season in the sunshine.
The pre season training programme has been designed to build up gradually over the coming weeks and the opening session proved tough, as it always does, after the players six week break. The players were given a gym session to complete along with some running around the Carrington Training Complex which gave a whole new meaning to breaking out in a sweat and warm weather conditioning.
The new signings integrated well and more players will be joining in the pre season build up after they return from International and club duties.
The players will be issued with their new training kit once the Kit Manager Alan Blease has applied the players initials to their gear.
We will be filming the players going through their pre season preparations and sharing their experience with you on the official club website and social media channels.
We will be doing a weekly series throughout pre-season, giving a different look at the Sharks Pre-Season, looking at each department and how they approach it.
The 2017-2018 season starts in ten weeks time and during that time we will be bringing you interviews and video footage of the players progress.
