We spoke to Denny Solomona yesterday about life with the England squad in Argentina.
Firstly we asked how was the foot injury that he sustained at the training camp in Brighton was responding. Denny said, " No problem at all, the physios looked after me and sorted out the problem quickly. It was pretty sore when I did it during a training session but the rehab programme was great and I am back now to where I want to be."
Denny spoke about training with England by saying, " It's great to be able to train with other players from the Premiership and we all get on really well. With having three other Sharks players here on tour has helped too. Competition for places for the first game is intense and I am just doing my very best to see if I can get the nod. The team will be announced on Thursday so here's hoping."
Denny also said that he likes Argentina as a country, "It is a lovely country and the weather is great, unlike Manchester where I hear it is blowing a gale and raining! We had a day chilling out on Tuesday and that was good. I beat Sam James at cards, again, but nothing new there. The food is great too and everyone seems to want to eat steaks which are huge."
