Stringer Signs New Sharks Deal

The record holding Irish scrum half, who earned 98 caps during his time at Munster, has been an inspired signing by Steve Diamond.

Diamond said: "Peter is a model professional who is incredibly fit and shows no signs of getting old. He has brought our backline to life this season.

"He is a very well respected member of our squad and the younger lads have all benefitted from Peter being here."

On signing his new deal, Peter Stringer said: "I'm delighted to have agreed a new deal. I am loving my rugby at Sale Sharks. It's a great environment and we have some very talented players at the club. The opportunity to get regular game time has given me a new lease of life"
