Will Addison is hoping to keep his starting place this weekend against London Irish at the AJ Bell Stadium as Sale make a return to the Aviva Premiership.
The winger has impressed so far this season and he says it is important for the side to take their good form back into the Aviva Premiership: "It is going to be an exciting game, we have had a good couple of weeks in Europe and we want to take that forward into the Irish game."
"The Premiership is our bread and butter so we are really looking forward to getting back into it."
Addison thinks that Irish could pose a real threat with their Premiership status hanging in the balance: "Their position in the league probably shows how they are going to play, they are going to be fighting for every single bit of the game, which makes them a very dangerous animal, so we need to bring in what we have been doing in recent games.
"We always want to win all of our home games, whether we play Saracens, London Irish or Castres, when they come here, we want to win.
"We always need to stay focussed going right up to the game. We have to deal with London Irish because they are coming here in a bit of form after having a bit of success in Europe too."
The 23 year old isn't short of mentors. He says that he has had the help of centre partnership Sam Tuitupou and Johnny Leota along with Sale Sharks legend Mark Cueto.
"To have Johnny and Sammy helping me as a centre is great, they are perfect to learn from, then when I play as a winger I can understand what they are doing.
"To have their inputs is invaluable, I have had Cuets helping me too, so it is great to have those experienced players giving you pointers here and there is really helpful.
"They push your standards in training and in games. They really push you on and help develop you as a player so it is great."
